The aim of the project is to develop an algorithm for detecting blue stain in photos of wood samples. At a later stage of the project, the analysis of photos taken in various lighting conditions is planned in order to determine the optimal lighting conditions for the effective identification of wood with blue stain. Planned cooperation with the 18@DOES'2021 (18@KMIO'2021) team.

Research hypothesis: The selection of lighting during image acquisition, which is the basis for image classification, significantly affects the efficiency of identifying wood with blue stain.
